Kosher Certification opens new doors
The Noordwijk location of Friesland Foods Butter has been awarded the Kosher Certificate. Rabbi Padwa van Beth Din, the English Rabbinate, conducted the audit in Noordwijk.
Kosher is the name given to all food that meets the dietary laws of Judaism. These extensive dietary laws contain numerous rules, such as a prohibition on contact between meat and dairy products. That can be applied to the production of dairy products, which must not come into contact with meat products or products that are not kosher. The kosher market is growing internationally.
