A subsidiary of Friesland Foods, Friesland Foods Cheese is responsible for the production and sale of a wide assortment of cheese ranging from traditional Dutch varieties such as Gouda, Edam and Maasdam, to an extensive selection of branded cheeses and cheese specialities such as Frico, Royal Hollandia, Slankie and Mimolette, plus herb cheeses and goat’s cheese. Friesland Foods Cheese also sells a wide range of melted cheese in many different taste variations and packagings. We export cheese worldwide to around 90 countries.
Friesland Foods Cheese achieves an annual turnover of approximately EUR 1.1 billion. We employ a total of 2,200 staff at 19 outlets in the Netherlands and abroad.
