The first drop of care

On March 10th, Friesland Foods officially launched the program “The first drop of care”. The aim of the program is to help the small farmers acquire milking machines, so that Milli milk is more pure and healthier right at the source. Through this program, 2,090 farmers from over 370 villages were able to get milking machines, which help them provide the producers with the safest milk that complies with the highest quality standards.
This was a Romanian government program, with 60% of funds coming from the state and 40% from Friesland Foods. The farmers will repay the loan from the milk they supply to Friesland.
As a result, Romanian villages will be able to maintain their values and traditions.
