History
Friesland Foods WAMCO Nigeria Plc is an affiliate of Royal Friesland Foods of the Netherlands, one of the largest dairy companies in the world. Incorporated in 1973, the company is located in the Ikeja area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Activities
For over thirty years, Friesland Foods WAMCO Nigeria has continued to play a leading role in the production, processing, packaging, marketing and distribution of various dairy products in Nigeria. WAMCO’s product range includes well-known brands such as Peak Evaporated and Powdered Milk, Peak Sweetened Condensed Milk, Peak 1-2-3 Growing Up Milk, Peak 4-5-6 Growing Up Milk, and Three Crowns Evaporated and Powdered Milk. To ensure the consistency of high-quality dairy products from WAMCO, Royal Friesland Foods provides strong support in the form of technology transfer and technical assistance.
With a dominant market share for our high-quality products and annual gross sales of over =N=36 billion, WAMCO is the leading dairy company in Nigeria as well as in the West Africa sub-region.
